Who can refer?

ADMISSIONS & ELIGIBILITY

Authorized Referrers

New Light Youth Residence accepts professional referrals from biological parents, legal guardians, Child Protective Services (CPS), Juvenile Probation officers, and reputable healthcare agencies. We prioritize collaborative communication to ensure the best outcome for every child and family.

Core Eligibility

Our program serves youth ages 12 to 17 who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges requiring trauma-informed residential treatment. We evaluate each case individually to confirm that our warm, luxe facility is the most supportive environment for their personal growth and healing.

Admission Coordination

Submit completed referral form with the youth's demographic information, social history, and present needs to referrals@newlightrtc.org via email.

Our admissions committee reviews the file within 24-48 hours to ensure a successful clinical fit for our residential program.

Following clinical review, we provide families and referrers with waitlist placement and pre-admission requirements. Full coordination available post-licensing.

Upon HHSC licensure + bed availability
